What Youll Do

• Own and maintain the integrity of the general ledger ensuring accuracy and completeness across all accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals prepaids reclasses and adjustments
• Play a key role in month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and proactively investigate variances
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Partner with auditors by preparing schedules documentation and responses
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Analyze financial data to uncover insights and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AP AR payroll and operations teams
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation (as applicable)

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 13 years of accounting experience (financial reporting audit or aviation/aerospace preferred)
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUPs data analysis)
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in aviation or MRO industry accounting
• Familiarity with cost accounting and operational efficiency metrics
