We are recruiting a
Housekeeper to join our team at Stroud House Residential Care Home in Petersfield.

Stroud House is a warm and welcoming care home providing high-quality support for older people in a calm friendly environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping create a clean safe and comfortable home for residents.

Location: Stroud House Petersfield
Salary: 13.45 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week (2-week rota)
Week 1: Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Monday & Thursday
Contract: Part-time permanent

About the Role

As a Housekeeper you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.

You will help ensure residents staff and visitors are welcomed into a clean safe and well-maintained environment every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties throughout the home
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Clean communal areas bedrooms and bathrooms
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Work independently and as part of a small team
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Support a positive and welcoming atmosphere

Who we are looking for

• Reliable and hardworking Housekeeper
• Someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards
• Friendly and comfortable working around older people
• Positive respectful and caring attitude
• Able to work independently on set shifts
• Previous housekeeping experience (desirable but not essential)
