Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Foreperson to join our Infrastructure team on a high-profile project in this role you will lead and coordinate civil piping and drainage activities across multiple crews ensuring work is executed safely efficiently and in line with project schedules. You will play a key role in driving field operations maintaining productivity and keeping work progressing across multiple fronts

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise Forepersons and crews across drainage and underground utility scopes
  • Ensure compliance with Ledcors health safety quality and environmental standards across all site activities
  • Lead and execute municipal drainage and piping systems including new installations notifications to existing systems and removals or abandonments. Lead and coordinate subcontractors to deliver high quality drainage works
  • Assist with coordination and planning of work scopes with discipline supervisors to complete work efficiently and safely
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings specifications and quality standards
  • Oversee mobilization and demobilization of drainage-related resources and equipment
  • Monitor productivity and proactively resolve field issues and constraints

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in civil or infrastructure construction with a strong focus on drainage and earthworks
  • Solid understanding of underground utilities and municipal drainage systems
  • Proven ability to lead multiple crews and coordinate complex work scopes
  • Strong commitment to safety quality and operational excellence
  • Valid drivers license and 3-year drivers Abstract
  • Safety certifications - CSTS Ground Disturbance WHMIS First Aid (training provided)

Work Conditions

  • Monday to Friday 10 hours per day with potential overtime required over the summer months on the weekend
  • Work in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where needed
