Roles and Responsibilities
This Salesforce Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of Salesforce initiatives ensuring customer requirements are translated into effective technology solutions. The role focuses on managing project execution coordinating teams mitigating risks and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships within an Agile environment. This position supports federal IT programs and is based in the Washington DC metropolitan area.

SpecificDuties
  • Assist business analysts in soliciting customer business requirements to meet the end users needs with proven ability to conduct one-on-one small and large group interviews on technology and system concepts.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Lead project execution with a strong emphasis on follow-through and completion ensuring all workstreams are tracked advanced and fully delivered.
  • Manages resources and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Conducts quality assurance for all deliverables prepared by the team prior to client submission.
  • Applies agile project methodologies and enforces project standards.
  • Identifies and manages project risk.
  • Prepare team status reports per customer reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and manage customer relations.
Requirements
  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • 5 years of experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Proven experience with formal project management practices problem management and change control.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
  • Proficient experience working with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing software development projects; knowledge of software development life cycles and methodologies including DevOps or agile delivery models Scrum methodology.
  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA.
  • Must have strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail with the ability to proactively manage tasks and operate independently as a self-starter in a multi-customer multi-business-line environment.
  • Bachelors Degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • US Citizenship required.
Preferred
  • Salesforce Service Cloud certification and experience.
  • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Additional Information:
Southpoint Consulting relies on several factors to determine salary including but not limited to geographic location education knowledge skills competencies experience and organizational and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110000 to $145000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents a typical salary range and is just one component of Southpoints total compensation package.
