Occupational Therapist – Adult Community (Duty Team)

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Locum Occupational Therapist to join its clients Adult Community (Duty Team) based in Croydon.

What will your responsibilities be

In this role you will:

• Coordinate daily duty functions within the Adult Community Occupational Therapy Service working closely with Duty Managers and Senior Practitioners
• Triage prioritise and allocate Occupational Therapy referrals in a timely manner
• Provide updates feedback and reports as required to support service delivery
• Support effective risk management and waiting list management
• Contribute to quality assurance processes and service performance
• Support training and development of staff within the duty function

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Current HCPC registration (essential)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Proven experience in Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy
• Strong knowledge of specialist equipment provision major adaptations and manual handling of people
• Uptodate moving and handling skills
• Good understanding of relevant Social Care and Health legislation
• Knowledge of community services and referral pathways
