Your Opportunity at SECURE
As our Administrative Assistant you will ensure accuracy compliance and timely processing of accounts. It combines administrative support with client-facing responsibilities requiring strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
The Team
Youll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team that supports field operations and directly engages with clients. The group values strong communication accountability and a solution-oriented mindset.
Work Environment
This role is based out of Edmonton Alberta and will work a 7:30am to 4:30pm schedule Monday to Friday and bi-weekly Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.
A Day in The Life
- Process route and post invoices in accordance with vendor payment terms and contracts.
- Process scale payments and ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation
- Provide secondary support for dispatch / front counter by answering and directing incomingphone calls
- Process customer payments ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures
- Ensure accurate coding and approval of all Accounts Payable invoices
- Prepare and process AP journal entries
- Ensure Vendor issues are investigated and resolved
- Perform vendor account reconciliations and ensure statements are current
- Maintain effective and timely communication with all internal/external stakeholders
- Utilize Excel Word Outlook and SharePoint for reporting and administrative tasks
- Perform general administrative duties as required
Skills Experience & Qualifications
- 3 years of office administration experience in an industrial setting or a recent graduate from a post-secondary office administration program
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of an organization
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional demeanor with a strong customer service mindset
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
