Job Summary

Primary Purpose:

Provide leadership in developing and implementing the districts bilingual program. Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to ensure educational opportunities for bilingual students.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelors Degree

Masters Preferred in an Educational Field

Valid Texas Teachers Certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Knowledge of strategies and materials for the education of bilingual students

Ability to interpret data

Ability to communicate effectively

Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

3 or more years in an educational field preferrably bilingual
