Home Health Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join the InterimHealthCare team in Portsmouth this role you will provide essential in-home care to patients helping them maintain their health and independence in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure personalized care that meets each patients unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility support.
• Monitor patients health status and report any changes to the nursing staff or supervisor promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being.
• Help with medication reminders and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to protect the health of patients and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate patient and reliable.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide as required by NH state regulations is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions precisely.
