Why work at MCC:$2500 sign on bonusGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years day after New Years Good Friday Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve and Christmas DayResponsibilities:Oversees timekeeping attendance performance reviews training and development Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assignedAbility to perform Finishing Operator duties:Continuously checks for print and seam defective material and splices the roll web back together per the a ruler safety knife and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to understand basic printing and seam related and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Radius)Preferred Skills:Supervisory or Leadership experienceQuality conscious and customer focusedSelf-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organizationAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variablesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software programAbility to add and subtract multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversionsAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distanceQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic flexographic or digital printing preferredThe physical demands require standing using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and position requires frequent employee is required to climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 eye concentration.
