Registered Nurse (RN) Sports Medicine

Location: Onalaska WI (with future travel to Winona MN)
FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per pay period)

The Onalaska Sports Medicine Clinicis seeking a RN to join a small closeknit teamas we expand services. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys autonomy fastpaced clinic work and partnering closely with clinicians.

Why This Role

This is an addition to the team to support a growing clinic giving nurses more capacity to provide thoughtful highquality care. Youll be the third RNon a collaborative team where critical thinking flexibility and teamwork are expected and valued.

What You Will Do

• Manage referrals and patient medical questions through a busy inbasket

• Perform patient triage and chart reviewto support appropriate provider routing

• Provide pre and postoperative educationand followup calls

• Conduct postop nurseonly visits

• Collaborate closely with surgeons clinicians athletic trainers and MAs

• Assist with clinic flow procedures and injections

• Support PlateletRich Plasma (PRP)injections (training provided)

• Future occasional outreach to Winona MNwill occur as services expand and coveragewill be rotated among the RN team.

Schedule

• 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period)

• 8-hour day shifts between 7:30am4:30pm

• MondayFriday with one rotating day off per week

• No weekends holidays or call

• Flexibility required based on clinic volume

What You Need

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher

• Activeunencumbered Wisconsin RN licenseupon hire; ability to obtain Minnesota RN licensurein the future

• At least 1 year of RN experience

• Strong communication skills confidence and comfort working autonomously

• Orthopedic sports medicine or specialty experience is a plus but not required.
