As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guard in Elmont NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service. This role offers the chance to support shoppers tenants and staff through strong communication teamwork and integrity while representing a caring agile reliable and innovative company.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants and staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas storefront exteriors parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe foot traffic patterns to help report suspicious behavior policy violations and/or unauthorized activity to site contacts and management.
• Support a professional presence throughout the location by assisting with directions answering general questions and communicating clearly with visitors tenants and emergency personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
