Job Summary
The Director of Global HR Operations provides enterprise-wide leadership across multiple HR operational teams with full people management responsibility for senior managers and managers. Oversight includes HR Technology HR Data HR Services and the Service Missionary Office.
This role partners closely with Human Resource Department leadership area and department leaders global HR teams Centers of Excellence (COEs) Global Workforce Communications and legal counsel to define and deliver HR operations that effectively support the organizations global mission and diverse mixed workforce.
Responsibilities
Enterprise-Wide Strategic Leadership
The Director of Global HR Operations is responsible for setting and driving enterprise HR strategy in the following areas:
- HR Technology strategy
- HR service delivery channel strategy
- HR data analytics and dashboard content strategy
- Participation in and leadership of organization-level projects and initiatives
Enterprise-Wide Operational Leadership
This role provides executive-level oversight and leadership for the following teams and functions:
- HR Technology
- HR Data & Reporting
- HR Services
- Service Missionary Office
Additional responsibilities include:
- Providing consultative leadership support to senior executives and organizational leaders
- Representing Human Resources in cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives
- Partnering with leaders to align HR operational solutions to business needs
Division-Level Accountability
Through division HR teams the Director is accountable for delivering and overseeing the following essential HR services and processes:SR1.1
- Global HCM system supportSR2.1MT2.2 Full Scale Oracle HCM
- HR communications assets and channels (templates channels etc.)
- Expatriate administration processesMT3.1SR3.2
- Timekeeping exception processes reporting administration and issue resolution
- Merit system administrationMT4.1SR4.2
- Salary survey data submissionMT5.1
- FTE vacancy process management including returning vacancies to BAC
- Global background check administration and vendor partnership
- Quality of hire survey administrationMT6.1
- Administration and guidance related to special pay and allowances (geographic regional and other pay practices)
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 15 years industry-related experience
- 10 years people management experience
- Deep strategic and HR operational knowledge
- Familiarity with best practices of HR functions
- Key skills and core competencies include the ability to:

- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which
need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.
Preferred:
- Masters degree in a related field
- Experience working as a senior leader in a Human Resource Operations or Technology role for a global multi-national company
