As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Myrtle Beach SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy retail location where you will monitor entry points conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants and/or staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures badge and credential checks and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances exits loading areas and/or other designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support authorized movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents alarm activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas storefront perimeters and/or parking areas with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Assist with visitor management directional support and policy enforcement while maintaining awareness of security-related issues and providing professional communication with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
