This role directly manages the Maintenance Department and ensures work is completed safely efficiently and in alignment with organizational Responsibilities:Leadership & SupervisionDirectly supervise all Maintenance Department hire train evaluate coach and discipline staff as employee concerns and resolve issues in accordance with company (Priority #1 at MCC)Follow all plant and corporate safety rules procedures and safety concerns safe behavior at all times and model expectations for the OperationsLead workers performing machine repair electrical and mechanical and maintain an effective preventive maintenance and manage tools equipment and supply maintenance personnel on equipment processes and completed work to ensure compliance with blueprints specifications and production schedules and determine labor requirements for job improvements to equipment work processes and workspace and resolve work problems or assist team members in doing employees and maintain accurate time and production with other departments to coordinate work and reduce & ReportingMaintain waste records and programs in accordance with OSHA & DHEC in special projects and perform other duties as :Associate degree or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school OR 58 years of relevant experience and/or to read and interpret safety rules operating instructions maintenance manuals and technical verbal communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to math skills including percentages proportions and geometry; ability to apply mathematical concepts to maintenancerelated DemandsFrequent standing walking climbing balancing kneeling crouching crawling and use of hands/ lifting/moving of up to 50 requirements include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust accommodations available for individuals with Opportunity EmployerMCC Label welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
