Job Summary

This role will motivate develop and lead a team in providing water services to customers within the region. This role will be responsible for organising and prioritising work across unplanned and planned activities and operational needs

What the role will involve:

Engage with the Asset Management team regarding assets and equipment maintenance to ensure

effective service delivery

Oversee and monitor all network activities ensuring safe completion of work

Forecast work requirements and determine resourcing needs

Monitor and report on the financial and business performance of the team

Develop short- and long-term strategic planning activities introducing innovation and efficiencies

Ensure plant and equipment are available for employees and subcontractors to ensure works are completed in a safe and timely manner

Key skills and experience:

Completion or progress towards Certificate III in Water Operations or Trades qualificationwith specific Water/Wastewater industry requirements :

  • Experience in CCTV work and Wincan reporting
  • Pipe patching/Re-lining of our assets
  • Experience with Jet Washing/Root cutting with the predator.

Completion or progress towards attainment of Certificate IV in frontline management

Leadership and operational experience of a multi-disciplinary team

C Class Drivers License as travel is required between our Canning Vale Balcatta and Mandurah Depots
