Boeing seeking a skilled Lead Windows Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Windows updates scripting virtualization and endpoint management tools. This role requires strong technical expertise in Windows operating systems automation and deployment technologies to support and enhance our IT infrastructure.
Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written to Interact with peers and customers. Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude self-motivated the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
This role will be based out of Bangalore India.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and compile Microsoft Windows updates including SSU and LCU packages.
- Develop maintain and troubleshoot scripts using PowerShell BAT/CMD VBS and XML.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaboration on code and configuration files.
- Analyze and interpret VBS scripts to support automation and system management tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot client Windows operating systems including event logs RDP sessions and command-line operations.
- Deploy and manage localized Virtual Desktop instances using Hyper-V and VirtualBox.
- Create and manage ISO files using DOS and PowerShell scripting.
- Administer and support endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Autopilot in production environments.
- Utilize Workspace ONE for device management and security (knowledge of Workspace ONE is desired).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Windows-based solutions.
Work Environment:
- This position may require occasional on-call support and collaboration with global teams.
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with some remote work flexibility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- A Bachelors degree is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows updates including SSU and LCU compiling.
- Proficient in Git XML PowerShell and BAT/CMD scripting.
- Strong ability to parse and understand VBS code.
- Thorough knowledge of client Windows operating systems including event logs RDP and command-line tools.
- Experience with localized Virtual Desktop instances (Hyper-V/VirtualBox).
- Ability to create ISO files using DOS and PowerShell.
- Experience using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot in a production environment.
- Knowledge of Workspace ONE is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies or endpoint management.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) 12 to 16 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
