Engineering Project Manager

Position Summary:The Engineering Project Manager oversees the planning coordination and execution of engineering projects from concept through completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget while maintaining compliance with quality safety and performance standards. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional leadership and communication Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional teams to plan execute and deliver engineering projects that meet business detailed project scopes schedules budgets and resource with internal departments (Engineering Operations Procurement Quality etc.) and external partners to align on project progress and proactively identify risks issues and changes to scope or adherence to company engineering standards specifications and regulatory and present project status reports including milestones KPIs and financial continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and implementing lessons contractors vendors and consultants involved in project a culture of safety quality and accountability throughout all phases of the project :Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related discipline preferred).PMP certification or equivalent project management credential :5 years of experience managing engineering or capital projects in a manufacturing industrial or technical success in managing project budgets timelines and multidisciplinary with CAD systems ERP tools and project management software (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet).Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to communication and interpersonal to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced leadership negotiation and stakeholder-management knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles ConditionsPrimarily office-based with travel to plant or vendor locations 40-50%.Must be able to visit production environments and wear required PPE when needed.
