As our newSeniorCompliance Counsel you will be working inWarsawas part of ourglobalGroup Compliance Compliance team focuses on developing andmaintaininga robust framework for regulatory compliance and helping the organization stay compliant with applicable laws and responsible forproviding2ndLine Compliancesupport training and awareness andadvice on a broad range ofcompliancetopics.

What you willbe responsible for:

As our newSeniorCompliance Counsel you willwork closely together with the existingglobal GroupCompliance team to develop and oversee ourComplianceFramework. You willcollaborate with1stLoDcross-functionalteamsandprovideguidanceto employees at all levelsto help theorganization stay compliant.

This role also offersa great opportunitytohelpshape yourown role based on your experience and interestswithin complianceareas.

Otherresponsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Assistingwith risk assessments toidentifymarket abusecompliance risks across various business functionsand regulatory areas
  • Develop andmaintainour Custody Account monitoring
  • Developing internal training programs including both e-learning and face-to-face training onMarket Abuse and Insider trading.
  • Collaborate closely together with internal stakeholders to shape our complianceframework andMarket Abuse Framework.
  • Maintain policiesguidelinesand proceduresand ensure consistent application of those policies across theorganizationalsosetting upcontrols andmonitoring effectiveness.
  • Participate in activities to regularlymonitorcompliance activitiesand mitigating measuresacross theorganization and assess their effectiveness
  • Support onInternalaudits clientrequestsandvendordue diligence questionnaires.

What we value:

As our preferred candidate you:

  • Have a degree in laworcommercial law
  • Have2-3 yearsofexperience withMarket Abuse Regulations Insider Tradingorequivalentcompliance topics and arecuriousto learn aboutthosetopicsyou might be less familiar with.
  • Have good analytical skills with attention to details
  • Have clear English communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Have a good understanding ofcomplianceissuesand risksandcanbalance the need for sound business advice with the need formaintaininga high standard of advice
  • To perform well in this role you should have good interpersonal skills and a sense of humor
