Job Purpose and Impact
The SST EU Outbound Scheduler coordinates and plans logistics activities with thirdparty providers and internal teams to ensure that customer sales orders are loaded scheduled and delivered according to agreed requirements.
In this role you will support outbound logistics and inventory execution within a single business site or country with a shortterm operational outlook. Responsibilities include shipment execution order scheduling data management reporting and analysis issue resolution and compliance with export import safety quality and hygiene requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with thirdparty logistics providers to move product between company locations and external warehouses addressing operational execution issues as they arise.
- Prepare loading and delivery schedules and/or pick lists for finished products to meet customer delivery requirements and service level agreements.
- Perform routine allocation of finished goods to customer sales orders in line with inventory availability and site requirements.
- Ensure that sales order and shipment information is accurately and effectively communicated electronically to internal stakeholders and thirdparty transport providers.
- Support supply chain key performance indicator (KPI) data collection reporting and analysis and ensure an effective document retention system is maintained in line with audit requirements.
- Receive investigate and resolve logistics or servicerelated customer complaints including raising service nonconformance reports or claims with logistics service providers when required.
- Conduct basic stock movement reviews and support variance investigations for finished goods under guidance.
- Provide operational backup support for scheduling and supply chain planning activities including execution support systems and master data maintenance reporting and analysis.
- Ensure product safety quality and hygiene standards are consistently applied and followed at all times.
- Handle routine issues and problems under direct supervision escalating more complex matters to appropriate stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Logistics Supply Chain Management Business) or equivalent practical experience.
Fluency in English and German required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
Experience supporting logistics planning and outbound transportation activities.
Experience with enterprise systems (e.g. SAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
