Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including production areas parking areas loading docks and perimeter points helping to identify unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees visitors and/or deliveries helping to control entry and exit in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain readiness for an armed post by following all applicable post orders licensing requirements and equipment handling guidelines while supporting security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
