Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer
Location: Southern California
Base Salary: $130000
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are searching for an experienced Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer to join a manufacturer of CNC machines CNC machine tools and 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers to drive growth and support key customers in California.
Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth in California for high-precision machine tools machining centers and CNC equipment by identifying new business opportunities providing technical tooling solutions.
- Build and expand strong customer relationships by positioning our machining solutions to meet production and performance needs.
- Develop strong technical knowledge of our machine tools and effectively communicate their application and value to customers.
- Monitor competitor activity and analyze market trends to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Execute regional sales plans manage budgets and provide regular market and performance updates to leadership.
Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales or applications role working with CNC machinery / CNC machine tools.
- Strong technical understanding of machining processes tooling and applications in CNC machining.
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend tailored machining solutions.
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships in the precision metal working / metal cutting industry.
- Located in or willing to relocate to Southern California.
