Job Summary

Join the Food Service team as a Storeroom Clerk. This position requires an energetic Food Service professional that enjoys being active and excels in a fast-paced operation. As a proven team player that is highly motivated you will be increasing your knowledge daily working with the Storeroom Supervisor. Prepare yourself to take on the responsibility of an inventory while ensuring 100% accountability. Storeroom Clerks ensure all storage areas secure load/unload subsistence deliveries are accountable for all subsistence in the storeroom during their shift. Daily Sanitation and Housekeeping will be conducted as required by the Tri-Services Food Code and any discrepancies will be reported to the Storeroom Supervisor. Roles and Responsibilities

• Storeroom clerks must assist storeroom leaders; follow all Air Force storeroom standards and follow all safety guidelines
• Storeroom clerks must receive physically and electronically; inspect and document all food being delivered and follow FIFO subsistence issuance method
• Storeroom clerks must prepare subsistence orders. Perform inventories twice a month and safeguard subsistence
• Storeroom clerks must be able to drive trucks
• Verify food when issuing to the kitchen staff
• Wear a clean uniform and pertinent personal protective equipment
• Printes required menu recipes
• Follow all safety standards and wear/use personal protective equipment
• Work shifts
• Complete all required safety training
• Keep working area clean and tidy

Basic Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certificate
• High School Diploma
• Drivers license
• English level I

Preferred Qualifications

• One years experience in a food service storeroom
• Computer skills
• Fluent in English
