Electronics Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
We areseekinga highly organized and proactiveElectronics Technician to join our include diagnosing and repairing all manufacturing equipmentin a glass factory performing routine servicing and inspections reading manuals troubleshooting rotating equipment using PLC or multimeter.

The ideal candidate will havestrong electrical skills and good mechanical background enjoy performing tasks with your hands and use a wide range of resources to solve machine operating problems

Key Responsibilitiesand Duties:

• Advanced troubleshooting ofany down equipment

• Installing repairingmaintainingelectronic components and systems for manufacturing equipment

• Sourcing replacement parts for electrical and mechanical systems

• Support operations teams to ensuretimelycompletion of tasks in line with safety protocols

• Completingscheduled preventative maintenance and servicingofequipment

• Assistother technicians as assigned and needed

• Follow written verbal and process instructions

• Responsible for continuous operation of facility and production equipment

• Works with contractors to complete assigned tasks

• Competentworking with production machinery HVAC systems cranes utility systems air compressors CNC machines ovens

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Office ExcelWordand Google Suite

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5years experiencesupporting maintenanceina manufacturing environment

• Experience in glass manufacturing(preferred)

• Journeyman or Graduate in Electricity (preferred)

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Physical Demands:

Amount of Time Spent Performing Activities:

• Standing: Up to 2/3 of the shift

• Walking: Up to 1/3 of the shift

Required Physical Strength and Movement:

• Must be able tolift upto 40lbsfrequently

• Must be able tolift upto 50lbsoccasionally

• Must be able toassistwith team lifting of loads exceeding 50lbsoccasionally

• Must be able to stand for the entire length of the shift (up to 10 hours)

• Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment

• Frequent climbing of ladders bending stooping standing walking twisting kneeling and reaching

• Must be able to see and hear to acknowledge critical safety instructions alarms forklift traffic and perform quality and equipment inspections

• Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of both upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force

• Must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds of force regularly including moving pallets carts glass/plastic sheets and boxes using a hand truck or similar equipment
