Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver comprehensive high-quality care to critically ill patients in a supportive clinical environment in Pittsburgh this role you will be responsible for ongoing patient assessment advanced monitoring and implementing individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs. The ideal candidate is confident in managing critical situations experienced with advanced life support technologies and committed to delivering patient-centered care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
Pay Rates
Full-Time: $45 $55/hour
Per-Diem: $55 $65/hour
Key Responsibilities
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
Monitor patients on advanced life support equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors
Administer medications IV therapies and critical care interventions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
Additional Expectations
Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Maintain compliance with patient safety and infection control standards
Support a collaborative and team-oriented work environment
Participate in continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
BSN Required
Magnet-ready experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 2 years of ICU or critical care experience
