Job Description
The Missile Solutions Segment of L3Harris is seeking a Facilities Technician C (HVAC) to join our team in Orange VA. Our site near Culpeper VAlocated in beautiful rural Orange County approximately 1.5 hours from Washington DCis growing rapidly. This location serves as our center of excellence for solid rocket motor propulsion energetics development and highcomplexity production programs.

The Facilities Technician (HVAC) will work under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications blueprints schematics and locally generated instructions. Candidates must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Responsibilities include following work procedures maintaining facilities and production equipment and performing general maintenance tasks.

Essential Functions
70% HVAC Maintenance: Troubleshoot repair and maintain plant HVAC equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on systems such as HVAC units dehumidifiers humidifiers and related equipment.
20% Installation: Assist with installation of new equipment.
10% 6S Support: General shop upkeep cleaning and organization aligned with 6S standards.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior HVAC experience or 2 years of postsecondary/associate degree education and a minimum of 2 years of HVACrelated experience.

Preferred Additional Skills
Virginia HVAC Journeyman Master or Contractor License is a plus.
Strong electrical experience and training in industrial equipment repair.
Proficient computer skills including MS Word and Excel (with formula use).
Strong safety and environmental awareness.
