Job Summary
Hours of work: 13.5 per week.
Working pattern: Part-time term-time only (working for39weeks per year plus6.05weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)
As the position is part-time/term-time only the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term until: 22.07.2027

We are a nurturing and community centred Church of England Primary School in the picturesque village of Hadlow Down. Our school vision and values are at the heart of everything we do and we are seeking anenergetic proactive and caring Teaching Assistantto join our dedicated and friendly team.
About the role:
Support childrens learning in class in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to meet individual needs.
Assist in delivering planned learning activitiesreinforcing teaching points and helping children stay engaged and motivated.
Work across key stages and support children working outside of class expectations.
Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning resources ensuring they are accessible engaging and inclusive.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing modelling respectful relationships and supporting children to develop resilience and independence.
Work collaboratively with teachers SEN staff and external professionals to support pupils with additional needs following agreed strategies and interventions.
Support the wider life of the school including playground duties school events and enrichment activities.
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience working with children in a school early years or a similar setting.
Be enthusiastic consistent and adaptablewith the ability to respond calmly and positively to changing situations.
Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding inclusion and the wellbeing of every child.
