Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established engineering supplier.

The successfulStores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive will manage inbound customer enquiries support walk-in customers within a workshop/trade counter environment generate quotations and build long-term relationships with key accounts. The role will involve advising customers on hydraulic components sourcing products negotiating pricing and ensuring a high level of customer service.

The Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive will have previous experience in internal sales trade counter or customer-facing roles within an engineering or industrial environment ideally with exposure to hydraulics fluid power or mechanical components.

Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone email and in person ensuring a high level of service.
• Support walk-in customers within a workshop/trade counter environment advising on hydraulic components and solutions.
• Generate accurate quotations and process customer orders promptly.
• Manage and develop existing customer accounts building strong long-term relationships.
• Identify and source hydraulic components liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability.
• Provide technical support and product guidance on hydraulic parts and applications.
• Site-based near Colchester

Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive Requirements

• Previous experience in internal sales trade counter or customer service within an engineering or industrial environment.
• An understanding of hydraulics fluid power or mechanical components is required.
• Experience with quotations order processing and account management is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Commercial awareness including pricing and margin management.
• Must be commutable to Braintree.
