Job Summary

Summary:In partnership with customer Shop Management and the Service Management Team the Field Service Supervisor will coordinate and direct Field Service Jobs for valve repair testing machining and diagnosis services. The Field Service Supervisor will oversee a team of Field Service Technicians who will be responsible for installation connection servicing testing adjustment repair maintenance removal trouble shooting inspection and replacement of various valve types per the customers scope of work and/or the customers special instructions. Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all assigned Direct Reports Hold required weekly Safety Meetings and others as required by companys Safety ProceduresCommunicate workload on the Field Job to Employees and coordinate assignment of sure all jobs are completed and delivered on time with the highest quality and cost efficiency. Serve as primary branch-level resource for quality control and continuous improvement of Field Jobs. Ensure adherence to the company Quality Management System Communicate with Production Manager/Operations Manager and/or Service Manager/Service Coordinator (where applicable) throughout the day on schedule and help coordinate all Field Service work (scheduling tooling personal PPE Costing/pricing).Enforce company rules and policies. Document any and all violations. Implement and maintain maintenance program on all field equipmentLearn and enforce the usage of the ValvKeep Service Software as required by company procedures and hold accountability for location level data in the to read interpret and train others on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) pre-cautions Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE) hazards levels etc;Ensure all needed Field Service supplies are available and coordinate the ordering of shop suppliesResponsible for all parts requests to ensure timely ordering and materials to complete with ASME NBIC and VR Programs and ensure Employees are also trained on this Performance Reviews are given annually or as directed by Human Resources and/or the Branch ManagerEnsure all training is performed and documented in regards to Safety company Quality Procedures Site Specific and Work all cost spending on Field Service supplies and equipmentBe on the job and available to work overtime at times for extended periods of time based on seasonal customer demandsPositional Requirements & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent GED or a minimum of 5 years of experience in control pressure protection and/or automated valve of 5 years experience in mechanical repair/production environmentMinimum of 2 years in leadership or supervision roleExperience working in and around mechanical industrial and electrical equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to read and interpret P&IDs PSV Data Capacity charts and assembly and test instructionsExperience working with measurement devices and test gaugesBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and OutlookMust have a valid drivers license and good driving recordMust be able to obtain and/or maintain a TWIC and DOT Drivers licenseWilling and able to lift and work with Personal Protective Equipment including Emergency Breathing Apparatus Desired Skills:At least 5 years of experience in control pressure protection and/or automated valve maintenance preferredAssociates degree preferredExperience working in a gas gathering system operation preferredCustomer driven/focusedTeam oriented and willing to lead othersHigh energy detail orientedAbility to successfully manage multiple tasks within a fast paced environmentAbility to read and interpret documents such as master schedule safety rules operating instructions drawings/prints and procedure manualsAbility to prepare detailed reports and correspondence that are clear and intelligibleAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of management customers and other employeesSound judgment with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detectedAbility to work independently and/or in team assignmentsStrong safety record and knowledge of safety rules and practicesAbility and willingness to work overtime as needed to support customer requirements and seasonal business volumeStrong history of dependability and reliabilityStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with othersEssential Physical Functions:Lifting: up to 50 poundsAdjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directionsLift and carry: 50 pounds for 100 feetBending stooping walking and climbing stairsAscending or descending ladders stairs scaffolding rampsMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spacesRemaining in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periodsMoving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to anotherCommunicating with others to exchange informationRepeating motions that may include the wrists handsand/or fingersOperating machinery and/or power toolsOperating motor vehicles or heavy equipmentAssessing the accuracy neatnessand thoroughness of the work assignedRequired physical ability if mandated by customer or regulatory requirementsAble to hold body weight while swinging on rope during static and dynamic transfer (offshore)
