Job Description:
Duties will include answering phones initiating work orders gathering manufacturers recommended maintenance data closing out Work Orders logging data maintaining spreadsheets researching parts/vendors/data maintaining maintenance files and creating and compiling reports. This position working under minimal supervision will require an individual with good attention to detail and good clerical skills. Competency in the use of MS Word Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Essential Functions:
- 60%- Clerical/Entering data/answering phone/filing
- 30%- Processing Work Requests & Scheduling Work Orders
- 10%- Gathering data throughout the facility
Qualifications:
- This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 4 (four) years of related experience. This person will need to have knowledge of maintenance supply parts acquisitions and computer systems. Experience with Oracle preferred. Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance tools machining and Project management would be a plus. Must be proficient in the use of productivity software including MS Excel Word and PowerPoint. Maintenance Departmental experience a plus. Inventory tools and parts knowledge a requirement. People skills a must.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid state issued Drivers License.
- Must be available to work any shift weekends holidays and be on call as required.
- Must be very safety and environmentally conscious.
