Job Summary

The Arlington Public Schools is accepting applications from applicants interested in teachingin our District Elementary Schools. We are looking for a long term substitute teacher to teach in a Grade 4 Classroom at the Hardy Elementary School from approximately June 10 2026 through the end of the school year and again at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year until October 30 2026.

Candidates for elementary teaching positions must be appropriately licensed for the position. Candidates must also be collaborative professionals who will work with grade level teams and regular and special educators throughout the School and District. Must love working with children and be willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in the addition Arlington expects teachers to work diligently and collaboratively to implement the Districts approved curriculum for all subjects. Candidates for this position who also have an English as a Second Language license will be strongly preferred.
