Job Summary
At the intersection of national security and high-performance computing we are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator who thrives on complexity. You wont just be patching servers; youll be the architect of the infrastructure supporting our most critical missions. From tuning HPC clusters to orchestrating secure containerized environments your work ensures that our data stays fast fluid and impenetrable.
Responsibilities
- Drive the secure deployment and lifecycle management of Linux workstations enterprise servers and HPC clusters.
- Efficiently administer local and remote filesystems ensuring data integrity and high-speed access across the network.

- Eliminate manual toil by developing sophisticated automation scripts using Shell and Python.
- Implement and manage robust security layers including advanced firewall configurations and fine-tuned SELinux policies.
- Drive system consistency and rapid deployment using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Modernize workflows by deploying and managing containerized environments using Docker Podman and Apptainer.
- Maintain and push the performance limits of HPC clusters utilizing industry-leading tools like Bright Slurm and xCAT.
- Configure and optimize Linux networking services to ensure seamless high-bandwidth connectivity.
- Author and maintain high-fidelity documentation for system configurations operational playbooks and strategic plans.
