Product Engineer Drivetrain System Integration
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Product Engineer Drivetrain System Integration to support the development of advanced hybrid and electrified drivetrain this role you will be responsible for system-level integration technical coordination and product engineering of advanced drivetrain subsystems including clutch modules chain drives and related electromechanical systems.
This position sits at the intersection of mechanical electronics controls and system engineering and requires a strong ability to translate vehicle- and system-level requirements into robust manufacturable product solutions. You will work closely with global crossfunctional teams to ensure technical alignment integration robustness and successful product delivery.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Ø Serve as system integration product engineer for advanced hybrid and electrified drivetrain products.
Ø Own system-level requirements decomposition and technical coordination for subsystems such as clutch modules chain drives actuators sensors and associated electronics.
Ø Lead the integration of mechanical electronics sensing and control elements into a cohesive drivetrain solution.
Ø Act as the technical interface between component design teams (mechanical electronics software/controls) to ensure alignment on interfaces performance and constraints.
Ø Define and manage key system parameters including functional performance packaging thermal behavior NVH durability and reliability.
Ø Support system architecture definition and trade-off studies for advanced drivetrain concepts.
Ø Drive system-level DFMEA inputs and support risk identification mitigation and design robustness.
Ø Coordinate and support system-level validation activities including DV/PV planning test definition and result assessment.
Ø Support prototype builds vehicle or bench-level integration issue troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Ø Collaborate with customers suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical clarification requirement alignment and change management.
Ø Support industrialization and production ramp-up by ensuring system-level readiness and technical issue resolution.

Requirements / Qualifications
Ø Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automotive Engineering or a related field.
Ø 5 years of experience in drivetrain hybrid/electrified systems or complex electromechanical product development.
Ø Solid understanding of mechanical systems (e.g. clutches chain drives actuation motors gears bearings) and their interaction with electronics and controls.
Ø Working knowledge of electronics sensors and embedded control systems sufficient for effective system integration.
Ø Experience with system-level requirement management and interface definition.
Ø Familiarity with automotive development processes including DFMEA DV/PV and change management.
Ø Ability to coordinate across disciplines and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ø Strong problem-solving skills with a system-level mindset.
Ø Experience supporting prototype builds integration testing and issue resolution.
Ø Exposure to customer-facing technical roles or system engineering roles is a plus.
Ø Experience in hybrid or electrified drivetrain applications is strongly preferred.
