As theBUHSELeader you will partner with the business unit Leadership Team to design and deploy a strategy to strengthen an interdependent and learning culture improve HSE performance and meet HSE regulatory requirements across manufacturing facilities and field operations.

You will be based inItalyand report operationally to theBUVice President and functionally to theBUHSE and Sustainability Director EnergyEquipment.

As an HSELeader you willbe responsible for:

• Engaging with business unit leadership team to drive a sense of shared accountability and continuous improvement in HSE performance and culture and integrate HSE in business decisions and management systems

• Driving a compelling sense of urgency across the different product lines toidentifyHSE hazards develop and implement effective safety critical barriers andvalidatethem

• Driving the same compelling sense of urgency across the different product lines toidentifyapplicable HSE regulatory requirements andtake actions to ensurecompliance

• IdentifyingHSE capabilities that are and will be needed as the organization evolves in different sectors and locations and attractretain and nurture HSE talents

• Engaging and cooperating with the broader Baker Hughes HSE function to deploy HSE practices and standards globally and accelerate performance improvements

• Taking an active and effective stance inrepresentingthe company in external industry or community events

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have aMastersdegree from an accredited university in HSE sciences or Engineering or equivalent experience

• Have a minimum of 15yearsprofessional experience including 5 years in a HSE leadership role preferably inManufacturingorOil and Gas/ Energyindustries

• Have experience inleading a team of experienced professionals

• Be knowledgeable aboutEU/ItalianOccupational Safety & Health regulations and standards and experienced in working with relevant regulatory agencies

• Be skilled in coaching executive leaders and help them drive cultural changes within their organizations

• Have skills in interfacing effectively with all levels of the organization as well as outside Baker Hughes including contractors vendors and customers

• Travel internationally up to 30% of your time
