Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingCT Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job inCanton GA.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Active ARRT (R) certification
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety
- Ability to work independently during night shift operations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure proper patient identification preparation and safety prior to imaging
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain strict radiation safety standards for patients staff and self
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for accurate imaging outcomes
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergencies when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and imaging records
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any technical issues promptly
- Provide compassionate patient care especially in emergency or high-stress situations
