Job Description:
The Quality Control person will report directly to the Quality Manager and oversee the Quality Assurance Team in areas of verifying that proper work procedures test protocols and reporting methods are consistently followed according to work procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read and understand product specifications.
Microsoft Office competent.
Monitor measure and test product being produced to ensure that they meet production standards.
Advise operator when product does not meet specification.
Accept or reject finished items.
Place on hold all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
Communicate inspection results with lead supervisor and management
Report inspections and test data.
Organized and detail oriented
Reliable punctual and team player.
Must be able to wind all hoses to provide breaks for line.
Qualifications
Experience:
Experienced in the role of Quality Technician with good organizational and time management skills within manufacturing environment. Through knowledge and use of micrometers calipers Micro-Vu and tensile testing equipment.
Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications preferred.
Problem solving skills.
Safety conscious at all times.
Good communication skills in English.
Attention to detail
Assertiveness
Comfortable with giving direction and training new hires if needed
Flexible with hours able to come in/stay over 4 hours on last minute notice to cover another team member.
Looking for a long term position and to grow with the company
Able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs reading/writing standing for entire shift.
