Join our dynamic 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit (1:3-1:4 ratio) in a thriving rural setting where top-performing nurses are known for growth autonomy and exceptional teamwork. Were seeking proactive professionals to manage complex drips (Heparin Amiodarone Cardizem Dobutamine) and diverse cardiac/trauma patients.

How youll contribute

AIMC RN who excels in this role:

  • Provide appropriate care for patients moved from ICU to IMC utilizing critical care skills and professionalism.
  • Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment for Angio and Medical Surgery units in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  • Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family.
  • May float to Med/Surg unit or ICU/ED if trained (experienced).

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license and possess an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required; IMC/PCU or ICU experience preferred
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required by completion of hospital orientation
  • Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire
