Experience is not required but always a Slitter is responsible for taking master label rolls from the Rewind Feeder and transforms rolls into specific customer order rolls ready for work at MCC:Compensation: $18.20/hour Plus $1.00/hour night shift premium$1000 sign-on bonus2-2-3 rotating shift. Day or Night shift available: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6amGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Easter Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Years EveShift:This role follows a 223 rotating schedule: Week 1: Work 2 days off 2 days work 3 days Week 2: Off 2 days work 2 days off 3 daysThis twoweek cycle repeats :Sets up rewind machine to cut and rewind specific counts per customer orderRuns orders fills out core labels to identify order and stacks orders on cartsKeeps orders separated by size city UPC or plant numbersChecks rolls while running for misprinting; report error to pressman and supervisorCuts out bad labels on rolls and splices rollsDirects errors to rework areaRotates through rework area to rework bad rollsClean rewind machine or turret machine as neededPerforms miscellaneous duties as assignedOperate turret machineParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to add and subtract multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and to use simple Windows-based physical demands require standing using hands to finger feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
