The diverse landscape offers its own unique charm complemented by a vibrant community centre hosting a variety of activities and a welcoming resident volunteer run café. With an active community of residents and an array of leisure facilities theres something for everyone at Buderim this role youll focus primarily on the general upkeep of our grounds and waste management while also assisting with gardening and maintenance 60% of your time will be dedicated to grounds care and waste collection and management and 40% to general gardening and Responsibilities:Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipmentPerform minor repairs and routine maintenance on tools and machineryMaintain outdoor spaces including carparks footpaths and decking areasInspect grounds for hazards and complete required repairsRemove rubbish and waste managementAssist with general gardening and maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance SupervisorAbout You:You will bring experience as a groundsperson maintenance assistant/handyman or a similar handson role along with the following:Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasksGood communication and teamwork skillsHigh attention to detail and a strong commitment to safetyBasic computer literacy (Excel Word Outlook apps)Understanding of machinery and tools used in grounds and maintenance workCurrent Australian drivers licence (Required)Current First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Ability to take initiative work independently and contribute to a teamInternal training and onsite inductions will be to Join the FunIf you take pride in keeping spaces clean safe and welcoming wed love to hear from you!
