Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) for a contract role. The ideal candidate will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety comfort and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and adjust exposure settings for optimal results
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control protocols
- Maintain quality and accuracy of radiographic images
- Document patient care and completed exams accurately
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor and manage radiology supply inventory
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
- Participate in continuing education and maintain certifications
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) license required
- ARRT certification required
- Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
