Performance Marketing Analyst

At Scandic we are on an exciting journey to modernise our customer acquisition methodology with a focus on broadening our channel reach utilising proper attribution and personalising our guest journey through data. No other industry has as many touch points with the customer as the hotel industry and we want to maximise our impact in all of them.

We offer an exciting role for an experienced marketing analyst within our Performance Marketing team at Scandic HQ working in close collaboration with our Marketing CRM and Ecommerce departments as well as external partners. You will be working in one of the most competitive digital landscapes there is with the aim of capturing a greater share of the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve the setup and reporting of always-on marketing activity ensuring accuracy and providing analysis of marketing activities performed within the Performance Marketing team
  • Connect the dots between overall commercial analytics and tracked performance of always-on marketing channels challenging results based on analysis
  • Oversee marketing tracking implementation and ensure the overall reporting setup is accurate transparent and insightful
  • Ensure always-on marketing analytics connectivity with Scandics BI team and as well as other key external partners
  • Work closely with analysts across the wider business to ensure alignment innovation and adoption of best practices in analytics

What are we looking for

  • An expert in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (client and server-side) who can own and evolve our insight and reporting capabilities
  • Expert knowledge in tracking implementation and reporting
  • A problem solver with the ability to draw conclusions explain and advise on strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Good understanding of paid-marketing landscape
  • Technical knowledge of advanced report automation Google Stack (BigQuery Data Studio) Salesforce and API & feed solutions
  • Understands the underlying concepts of web infrastructure
  • Experience in SQL and JavaScript
  • Deep understanding of Consent Management and the data sharing landscape
