Job Summary

Responsible for entry of all incoming order information through direct entry in main plant systems. Maintains all related files and develops related reports. Coordinate all customer RFP/RFQs coordinate proposal activity submit compliant proposals to the customer. Administer contracts of sale and coordinate change activity. Communication between external customer and internal functions. Contract voice on the Integrated Product Team.

Job Responsibilities

Receive incoming customer orders/releases. Review existing orders part numbers revision levels quantities dates and etc. Validate proposed budgets and release work authorizations

Receives incoming customer orders/releases and pulls existing GKN paperwork. Reviews existing order/releases for accuracy in addresses part numbers revision levels quantities dates etc. to release from customers. Creates new order/line items as determined necessary.

Receive all incoming requests for proposal. Coordinate all internal activity required to respond. Assist with pricing models financial analyses and validation of pricing actions. Prepare compliant proposal packages for submission to the customer

Contract administration including coordination of changes with the customers assistance in cash collection and other administrative matters

Interact with customers and internal company disciplines as needed insuring contract compliance.

Develop any reports usually on order/ship history as required by Sales or Customer Service. Maintains pricing. Checks for pricing discrepancies from master listing on each order as they occur and notify Account Manager or Sales Development Manager. Notifies Account Managers/Sales Personnel regarding orders requiring pricing review.

Maintains training to retain proficiency in all duties. Recommends and implements process changes to improve efficiency and responsiveness.

Completes order acknowledgment in appropriate venue as required by customer.

Performs other duties as assigned. Such as closing production orders and assists other departments when necessary.

Performs Lean Enterprise and continuous improvement tasks as needed or required.

Follow departmental procedures and work instructions.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualificaitons:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business
  • Fluent In English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP
  • SIOP / MPS / MRP Master Data Mgt Transportation Management Customs Transport & International regulations Internal Flow & Warehousing End-to-End visibility and data exchange Performance Monitoring Industry & Product acumen experience
  • GKN Experience
