At DTU Management you will joinEASYGEN an interdisciplinary Horizon Europe project developing a new generation of point-of-care technology for CAR-T cell therapy. The project seeks to expand access to advanced cancer treatment by reducing the time cost and complexity of current treatment logistics. EASYGEN is guided by an end-user- and patient-centred approach: its goal is to ensure successful and responsible integration into real-world hospital workflows.

By joining EASYGEN you will contribute to a high-impact European project help shape a responsible and participatory approach to healthcare innovation and build a strong research profile at the intersection of STS Innovation Studies and participatory research.

Responsibilities and qualifications
Your overall focus will lie on steering and contributing to the EASYGEN project and to co-develop a qualitative and reflexive research agenda around responsible healthcare innovation together with Ass. Prof. Benjamin Lipp and colleagues at DTU Management.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead qualitative research efforts to identify and analyse users perspectives and needs regarding a novel point-of-care CAR-T technology in hospital settings
  • Design and facilitate co-creation activities with healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary partners to translate qualitative insights into workflow design training and implementation strategies
  • (Co-)publish research in peer-reviewed international together with team members

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • a PhD in STS anthropology sociology or a related field
  • strong experience with qualitative methods especially interviews and ethnographic methods
  • experience with participatory and co-creative research approaches
  • ideally experience with empirical research in healthcare settings such as hospitals digital health or medical work
  • ideally experience with working in interdisciplinary teams

As a formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.

The period of employment is 2years. Preferred starting date is 1 October 2026. The position is full-time.
