Senior Care Assistant Night Shift Role in a Friendly Residential Home
We are recruiting a Senior Care Assistant (Medication Trained) to join our dedicated night team at St Georges Residential Care Home in Worthing.
This is a key senior role within a small supportive 26-bed elderly care home where you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality care and supporting residents throughout the night.

Your Role as Senior Care Assistant (Night Shift)
As a Senior Care Assistant you will play a vital leadership role within the night team ensuring residents receive safe compassionate and high-quality care throughout the night.
You will take responsibility for guiding care delivery and supporting the team when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality personal care throughout night shifts
Administer medication safely (trained Senior Care Assistant)
Carry out regular welfare checks to ensure resident safety and comfort
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
Maintain dignity independence and respect for all residents
Complete accurate records and handover documentation
Support and guide Care Assistants on shift
Ensure safe and consistent overnight care delivery
Who we are looking for
Experienced Senior Care Assistant in elderly care
Medication trained (essential)
Confident working night shifts with responsibility
Calm reliable and emotionally resilient
Strong communication and leadership on shift
Compassionate and patient approach to care
Able to support and guide other staff members
