Job Summary
We have five exciting roles on offer within our Cultural Service as a Casual Box Office Assistant.
About Us
We have an exciting opportunity to join the box office team within Middlesbrough Town Hall and Middlesbrough Theatre.
We are seeking experienced office assistants to work across both venues. Postholders will be friendly professional and enjoy delivering fantastic customer service within a sale-based role.
Due to the nature of our box office we are looking for experienced box office assistants who have previously worked within a ticketing/box office environment and are comfortable with solo working.
As the first point of contact for our customers you will feel comfortable communicating face-to-face over the phone and via email.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing excellent customer service including handling customer queries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Using our box office system (Spektrix) to process sales and other sales-related tasks.
- Keeping the box office area tidy and print updated.
- Taking deliveries and informing relevant teams.
We are ideally looking for candidates who are available to work a mix of daytimes/evening and weekends.
Shifts are allocated via a monthly rota and consists mainly of evening and weekend shifts though weekday shifts are occasionally available.
Please note these are casual posts on a zero-hour contract.
