Position Overview
We are seeking a strong hands-on Clinical Director to lead a substance use and mental health program in Hilliard Ohio. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical services ensuring compliance and building a structured high-performing treatment environment.
This is a leadership role for someone who can balance clinical excellence with operational discipline. The right candidate will support and develop clinicians maintain regulatory standards and implement systems that improve outcomes accountability and overall program performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight across substance use and mental health services
- Supervise mentor and develop clinical staff (therapists counselors and support team)
- Ensure compliance with state federal and accreditation standards
- Oversee documentation quality treatment planning and clinical best practices
- Implement and maintain structured clinical processes and accountability systems
- Partner with executive leadership on program growth performance and strategy
- Monitor KPIs including census outcomes engagement and staff productivity
- Support hiring onboarding and retention of clinical team members
- Address clinical escalations and ensure high-quality patient care delivery
Requirements
- Licensed clinician required (LISW)
- 5 years of experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards
- Experience with documentation audits and quality assurance processes
- Ability to manage both clinical and operational responsibilities
