Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Prime Source Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely receiving products from outside carriers and ensuring that the loads are checked in scanned and put away.

• Stacking products on pallets following proper handling and safety practices.
• Hand-selecting orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures with most time spent in the cooler.
• Loading right on the truck for next-day deliveries.
• Occasional heavy lifting is required. Must be able to lift 175 pounds up to 100 pounds; often reaching up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist.
• Once certified operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products when needed.
• Maintain and safely operate all assigned mechanical equipment including but not limited to electric pallet jack and forklift. Prior experience a plus.
• Material handling experience is helpful.
• Ability to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Determination to meet or exceed established cases per error goals.
• Solid reading writing and communication skills to effectively perform job requirements and adhere to safety regulations.
• Responsibility trustworthiness and the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship.
• Must be flexible and able to work MondayFriday between the hours of 6 am 2:30 pm.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
