Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary:The Sign Shop Systems Operator I assists with engraving vinyl work graphic design wide-format and other sign-making operations. Completes simple product installations.
Additional Department Summary:Independently operates each piece of production equipment in the Sign Shop and masters installation techniques. Enters jobs into the MIS and creates work orders.
Required Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. drivers license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge:Knowledge and experience in Digital Printing including wide format. Ability to provide a high level of customer service. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience using Corel Draw. Experience with vinyl plotting cutting and installation. Experience with design.
