Grade/Salary: Single Status Grade 5 Points 12-13 (starting point 12 - 25989 full time equivalent). Actual salary - 23968
Contract: Permanent full time (part time will be considered as part of a job share) term time only plus 2 weeks.
Hours: MondayThursday 8.15am-4.15pm Friday 8.15am-3.45pm (some flexibility in hours may be possible)
We are seeking to appoint an organised proactive and professional Administration Coordinator to join our team. This vital role supports the effective daytoday running of the school and involves coordinating administrative processes maintaining accurate records supporting meetings and events and acting as a key point of contact for staff students parents and external agencies. The successful candidate will be able to manage competing priorities work to deadlines and communicate clearly and confidently in a busy environment. Strong organisational and IT skills attention to detail professionalism and a commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding are essential. Previous administrative experience is required ideally within an educational setting and we offer a supportive working environment and opportunities for professional development.

Beacon Academy is a split site semi-rural mixed 11-18 non-selective converter academy with approximately 1600 students including over 300 students in our Sixth Form. We are situated centrally in Crowborough on the outskirts of the Ashdown Forest an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are close to Tunbridge Wells and the south coast. The vast majority of our staff travel to Beacon from a variety of locations within the southeast including Brighton Eastbourne Lewes and Tunbridge Wells.
In September 2022 Beacon Academy together with Uplands Academy in Wadhurst became a member of the MARK Education Trust (formally Beacon Community College Academy Trust).
