As a Client Affairs Visiting Officer you will support adults who receive care through Adult Social Care and lack the capacity to manage their own finances. Youll meet adults in their homes to understand their needs ensure their finances are managed in their best interests and help protect their property when they cannot do so themselves.
Youll complete detailed reports support the Appointeeship & Deputyship Team and work closely with the Protection of Property team.
Most travel is within East Sussex but occasional travel outside the county may be required.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Can communicate effectively with people with complex needs.
- Have experience working with vulnerable adults in a care social care or similar environment.
- Can analyse financial information and complete clear comprehensive reports.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel).
- Can meet the travel requirements of the role.
