JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will join our team and support the deployment and monitoring of quality standards. The QA Engineer will work with engineers across teams to develop a Quality Assurance framework for the entire organization and Gen AI platforms. As a QA Engineer you will be a part of the Data Management & Platforms team and will help drive quality throughout the entire data product lifecycle through collaboration with product and development teams development of test cases and automation scripts and analysis of the system to consistently deliver quality products to downstream consume.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 5 yrs of experience in a Data Testing role validating different aspects of data migration ETL & DW testing practices.

2. Knowledge or working experience in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies is preferred.

2. Extensive knowledge of SQL for testing analysis.

3. Exposure to testing in data migration. Familiarly with diff test approaches used for migration validation

4. Thorough knowledge of testing and defect management lifecycle.

5. Clear understanding of AWS ecosystem and data-related services such as S3 Glue etc.

6. Hands on experience on Python Pytest and other common tools used for data testing automation (Automating Data ingestion Validation mapping Data reconciliation historic/incremental loads etc).

7. Experience in automating parts of data validation (using dataframes python setup).

8. Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate with the engineering support teams and business users to define test cases execute data validations.

9. Contribute to performance testing (e.g. load testing) to validate data handling under stress.

10. Contribute to test automation frameworks where applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge or working experience in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies like LLM RAG are preferred. Experience working with professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle. Experience in Data migration projects and ETL testing. Experience in Selenium Automation testing using Python Pytest

EDUCATION:

B.E/ in Computer Science or related technical degree OR Equivalent
